Overview

Microvascular clamps temporarily occlude small vessels during microsurgical anastomosis in reconstructive, plastic and hand surgery. We make single clamps (B-1, B-2, B-3), double approximator clamps with and without frame (ABB-1, ABB-11, ABB-22, ABB-33) and hand-applied single and double clamps (HD and RD series). Most are offered in a general-purpose version and a matte-finish version for thick-walled arteries, in natural or black finish.

Sub-types

Single clamps

B-series single clamps for occluding one vessel end.

Double approximator clamps

ABB-series double clamps that hold both vessel ends together for suturing, with or without frame.

Hand-applied clamps

HD and RD series clamps applied by hand without an applicator.

Materials & Grades

Clamps are stainless steel with calibrated spring tension. The matte-finish (A) versions are designed for thick-walled arteries; the general-purpose (V) versions suit veins and thinner vessels. Black versions reduce glare under the operating microscope.

Buying Guide

How to choose a microvascular clamp: • Single or double — double approximator clamps hold both vessel ends for anastomosis; single clamps occlude one end. • Vessel type — choose 'thick walled arteries' (A) or 'general purpose' (V) versions. • Size — the series number indicates clamp size; match it to vessel diameter. • Finish — black finish reduces reflections under the microscope.

A versions have a matte finish and are designed for thick-walled arteries; V versions are general-purpose clamps suited to veins and thinner vessels.

What is the minimum order quantity?

For standard instruments the minimum order is one piece. Special or custom items are quoted case by case.
