Materials & Grades
Instruments are forged from surgical-grade stainless steel (Japanese, German and Pakistani grades), then heat treated, pickled, electro-polished and hand finished. Rasps and scissors are available with tungsten carbide (T.C.) inserts for longer edge life, and selected retractors and speculums come insulated for electrosurgery or fitted with fiber optic light guides.

Category FAQ
What instruments are used in rhinoplasty?
Rhinoplasty uses nasal retractors and specula for exposure, scissors and elevators for dissection, osteotomes and a mallet for bone work, rasps for the dorsum, cartilage instruments and septum forceps, plus fine tissue forceps and needle holders for closure.
Which instruments are in a basic rhinoplasty set?
A typical starting set includes double skin hooks, an Aufricht retractor, a Cottle or Killian nasal speculum, a Joseph or Cottle knife, Fomon or Converse scissors, an Aufricht rasp, lateral osteotomes (straight and curved), a mallet and a cartilage crusher. We can quote a set built to your own list.
