Metzenbaum Dissecting Scissor
$10.00

The Cleveland Cutting Forcep (S27-200-17) is a 17cm cutting instrument used in maxillofacial and rhinoplasty surgery for trimming cartilage, soft tissue, or fine bone fragments where a scissor-type cutting action is preferred over the biting action of a rongeur or the striking action of an osteotome.
Where a rongeur bites and removes bone piece by piece and an osteotome is struck with a mallet for controlled linear bone cuts, a cutting forcep provides a scissor-like shearing action, well suited to softer tissue such as cartilage, or to trimming fine tissue edges with more direct, hand-controlled precision than a mallet-driven instrument allows.
This forcep is used in rhinoplasty for cartilage trimming and shaping, and in broader maxillofacial surgery wherever precise, hand-controlled cutting of soft tissue or fine structures is needed.
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel and hand-finished in Sialkot, Pakistan, with hardened, precisely aligned cutting blades designed for a clean shearing action.
Fully autoclavable. The cutting blades should be inspected before each use for alignment and sharpness, since misaligned or dulled blades will crush rather than cleanly cut tissue.
The Cleveland Cutting Forcep, 17cm, SKU S27-200-17, is supplied by Scatter Instruments to hospitals, surgery centers, and distributors internationally, with bulk pricing and OEM or private-label branding available on request.
