Metzenbaum Dissecting Scissor

The Miller-Colburn Curette, Angled (S27-206-00 family) is available in two sizes — FIG 2 and FIG 4 — used to scrape and remove soft tissue, granulation tissue, or debris from bone surfaces or cavities during maxillofacial surgery, with an angled shaft for access to areas a straight curette cannot easily reach.
A curette has a small, cupped or ring-shaped working tip used to scrape material from a surface through a controlled pulling or scooping motion, distinct from cutting or biting instruments. In maxillofacial surgery, curettes are used to clear soft tissue or debris from bone defects, cystic cavities, or fracture sites before proceeding with grafting, plating, or closure.
The angled shaft allows the surgeon to reach into surgical cavities or around bony prominences at an angle that a straight instrument couldn't access without an awkward hand position, improving control and visualization during the scraping motion.
FIG 2 and FIG 4 refer to standard curette sizing conventions, giving the surgeon a choice between a smaller, more precise working tip and a larger one for broader surface clearance.
This curette is used in maxillofacial surgery for clearing soft tissue, granulation tissue, or debris from bone cavities and defects, particularly where angled access is needed.
Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel and hand-finished in Sialkot, Pakistan, with a precisely shaped cupped working tip at each size.
Fully autoclavable in both sizes. The working tip should be inspected for deformation or dulling of the scraping edge during routine checks.
The Miller-Colburn Curette, Angled, is available as S27-206-02 (FIG 2) and S27-206-04 (FIG 4). Scatter Instruments supplies this range internationally to hospitals, surgery centers, and distributors, with bulk pricing and OEM or private-label branding available on request.
