Screw Driver — Overview

The Screw Driver (S27-187-00 family) is a maxillofacial hardware driver available with 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.3mm, and 2.7mm tip sizes, matched to the corresponding bone screw systems used in orthognathic and trauma fixation.

Tip Size Options

Offered with 1.5mm (S27-187-15), 2.0mm (S27-187-20), 2.3mm (S27-187-23), and 2.7mm (S27-187-27) tips, allowing the driver to be matched to the screw size specified by the fixation plate system in use.

Clinical Use

Used to insert and remove bone screws during maxillofacial fixation, including plating for orthognathic surgery and trauma repair.

Material and Construction

Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel and hand-finished in Sialkot, Pakistan for a precisely machined tip that seats securely in the screw head.

Sterilization and Care

Fully autoclavable and intended for repeated reuse. The tip should be inspected before each use for wear that could cause cam-out.
