Tessier Maxillary Lever, Left — Overview

The Tessier Maxillary Lever, Left (S27-168-01) is a heavy-duty lever used for controlled mobilization of the maxilla after a Le Fort osteotomy, contoured for the left side of the maxilla.

Left-Side Design

Shaped specifically to engage the left maxillary segment, this lever is used together with its right-side counterpart to achieve balanced, symmetric down-fracture and mobilization.

Clinical Use

Used in Le Fort I and related maxillary osteotomy procedures to apply controlled leverage that completes the down-fracture and mobilizes the maxillary segment.

Material and Construction

Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel and hand-finished in Sialkot, Pakistan for a rigid shaft capable of withstanding mobilization forces.

Sterilization and Care

Fully autoclavable and intended for repeated reuse. The tip should be inspected before each use for deformation.
