Everything you need to know about shipping and delivery of your order.

1 Delivery Timescale
All orders received through the Scatter Instruments website are processed and, if stock is available, dispatched within 4 working days of receiving the order. Your ordered products go through a production process, and the production period may vary according to the number of products and quantity — typically 1–4 weeks.
2 Lost Package
On rare occasions we do experience losses whilst in transit. Please allow the full delivery time of your chosen shipping option, counted from the date of dispatch. If this time elapses and goods do not arrive, contact your nearest relevant courier office to check that no goods are being held.
In the unlikely event that the package is not being held, contact our Customer Services team for assistance in sending a replacement. Please be aware that if we are not contacted within 3 weeks, an insurance claim cannot be made and you will be unable to claim any loss from Scatter Instruments.
3 Track an Order
Track any order on our order tracking page with your order number and email for live parcel updates. If you have an account, you can also see all your orders and tracking numbers in My Account.

Which options appear depends on your country and the weight of your order; you always see every available option and its price at checkout before you pay. Delivery times are counted from dispatch.
5 Duties-Paid vs Duties Paid by You
Duties paid (DDP)
Import duties and taxes are included in the shipping price. Nothing more to pay when the parcel arrives.
Duties paid by you
Faster express options. The courier collects any import duties and taxes from you before delivery.
U.S. customers: since August 29, 2025 every import into the United States is subject to duties. See U.S. Import & Customs Information.
6 Notifications
We keep you updated at every step: an order confirmation email when you order, your invoice when the order goes into processing, and a shipping notification with your tracking number when it is dispatched. If you gave us a mobile number, you also receive these updates on WhatsApp.
7 Packaging & Documents
Instruments are packed to protect tips and cutting edges in transit. Export shipments travel with the customs documents the courier needs, every unit carries a lot identifier for traceability, and a signed Certificate of Conformance accompanies every export shipment.
