The Hanasaki Lid Speculum, Nasal Approach (SA-661-hs family) is a compact eyelid retractor available in 5mm and 7mm blade sizes, in stainless steel or titanium, sized toward the smaller end of the adult and pediatric-adjacent range for procedures needing a narrower, lower-profile retractor.
The 5mm and 7mm blade sizes are smaller than most general-purpose adult specula, making this design suited to patients with a notably narrow palpebral fissure, pediatric-adjacent cases just outside standard infant sizing, or procedures where a minimal, low-profile retractor footprint is specifically desired — for example, where working space around the eye is especially constrained.
